After years in the shade, the female freestyle team has finally appeared on the Swiss scene ! During the 2009-2010 season the best snowboarders and skiers of the moment will have a chance to show what they can do. Watch out guys, the girls are in the starting blocks this winter.
Thanks to the motivation of the Ladies First Crew, made up of five girls and one boy, all of them passionate freestylers, the first round of the NIKITA CHICKITA SWISS TOUR will take place this winter ! Five slopestyles and a rail contest, specially designed for girl skiers and snowboarders, are planned this season. The NCST 09-10 will start in the Valais (Crans-Montana and Villars) and continue in the central Swiss and Bernese Alps (Hoch Ybrig, Adelboden) before coming back to the Valais for the « Big Final » in Thyon.
The best three « Big Final », which will take place at the Central Snowpark in Thyon on March 20. They will challenge about fifteen guest riders trying to win the money prize of CHF 5'000.- reserved for the winner of the NCST 09-10 ! To the best snowboarders an invitation will also be given to take part in the 2010 round of the NIKITA CHICKITA EUROPE in Serfaus, Austria on April 10. Besides the four qualification rounds and the « Big Final », some other key-dates: Firstly, in December, the OPENING SESSION will take place in Les Diablerets at the Chalet Budokan of Demonium, where it will be possible to ride, eat and sleep. More info : here. Later in the season, a second « Extra contest » will be held in the centre of Montreux. As perfect « gentlemen » the Orgiride team has invited us this year for the evening party on Friday of the now famous MONTREUX JIB FESTIVAL. All Swiss and European riders are welcome to the NIKITA CHICKITA SWISS TOUR 2010. This first round of the NCST has the ambition of becoming a must on the Swiss « freestyle stage».
